Community

Just helped an elderly diabetic man who fell over in the street.  Luckily, a fellow passer by had stopped at the same time and had the fore sight to ring for an ambulance.  The man had cut his nose rather badly and was in shock.  Before I knew it, I had run across the road to help, was requesting a first aid kit and something to put under his head from a nearby shop.  What was so brilliant was that within a space of 5 minutes, around 4 people were helping, an ambulance had been called and 5 passers by and motorists had asked if we needed help.  A real community.  We all need help sometimes and it's good to know others aren't afraid to give their time.  Get well soon Paul.

Life in 2050 Call for Submissions

Life in 2050 is an exciting new exhibition created my friends at Transmission for the Sci-Fi London Film Festival

Leading visual artists including Universal Everything, Build, Mario Hugo, Alex Trochut, Will Sweeney and Hort will submit an original piece of work depicting their vision of 'Life in 2050' for a spring exhibition at Chapter One Gallery

There is one space free for a public submission. Send Transmission your ideas on what life will be like in 2050.

The winning entry will be selected and exhibited at the final exhibition. An online gallery will be created to house all the submitted work.

Please visit www.life-in-2050.com  for entry guidelines and info about submitting work.
