New Exhibition: Inspired

Inspired - 18th May - 16th June 2007
The illustrator Zara Wood aka Woody returns back to UK with new work enthused by her recent trips to Australia and Japan. Described by Marmalade Magazine as ‘prolific’ and ‘versatile’ Woody combines her trademark 3-dimensional dioramas and objects, along with delicate pencil and watercolour drawings in her second show of 2007.

Works on Cardboard Exhibition

Woody's first show of 2007 ‘Works on Cardboard’ will be full of tiny dioramas that create complex recycled communities. “I enjoy making intricate well-crafted work in a material usually associated with packaging delicate art rather than being used to create it.” Her signature style of beautiful yet scary vignettes promises to be intriguing as well as environmentally conscious.

Third Drawer Down Gallery, 52 Robe Street, St Kilda, Melbourne.
